Passive HD-TVI/AHD/HD-CVI Ground Loop Isolator

The GL001HDP Video Ground Loop Isolator is a passsive device which reduces ground loop interference with HD CCTV signal (HD-TVI/AHD/HD-CVI) and can easily be installed in a new or existing system.  It is useful where a video signal is transmitted via cable between points with different ground potentials.  Differences in ground potentials are typically caused by unbalanced power line loads.

Installation View

The video ground loop isolator should be installed where runs of video cable are known to have ground loops.  It must be installed in the video cable that comes out directly from DVR side.

Caution: This passive video ground loop isolator will cause 37% video loss, so it is only suitable for installation with distances less than 200 meters.  If over 200 meters, please use the active type model GL001HD to avoid video loss.
